SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL FOR GAO-24-105785: IRS Workforce Demographic Composition and Employee Outcomes
Fast Facts
IRS is more diverse than the national civilian labor force in representing women, employees from historically disadvantaged racial or ethnic groups, people with disabilities, and veterans.
This is a supplement to our report IRS Workforce: Actions Needed to Address Barriers to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility. The report found that diversity is largely concentrated in lower ranks and jobs without senior-level advancement potential, and covered IRS's efforts to address these and other workforce diversity issues.
This product includes the results from our analyses of IRS personnel data and the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey.
