[Army Reserve Member's Claim for Pay at Previous Rank]

An Army Reserve member claimed retained pay after he accepted a warrant officer position. GAO held that since the claimant accepted a lower rank, he was not entitled to continue at the salary and allowances of the higher rank. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
