Highlights
A firm requested reconsideration of a decision which dismissed its protest under a Veterans Administration (VA) solicitation, because the protester failed to furnish VA with a copy of the protest within 1 day after the protest was filed with GAO. The protester contended that this requirement was a minor technicality which was not covered under federal regulations. GAO found that federal regulations provide for the dismissal of protests which fail to comply with this requirement. Accordingly, the dismissal was affirmed.
