Our Priority Recommendations for the Department of Homeland Security
Every year, GAO sends letters to federal agencies highlighting our recommendations from past reports that we think should be prioritized because they would have an immediate high impact on the most pressing challenges facing their agencies and programs. This year, for the Department of Homeland Security, our priority recommendations include those that would improve national security and better prepare for and protect against disasters.
