Kristy Williams is a Director in GAO’s Defense Capabilities and Management team. She oversees GAO’s work in the personnel and enterprise management portfolio, with an emphasis on military and civilian workforce management, service member quality of life issues, and military justice, among others.

Kristy joined GAO in May 2001. She has spent her entire career in the Defense Capabilities and Management team where she has managed reviews on a wide range of national security and defense issues. Her past efforts have focused on Intelligence Community workforce management and support, defense support infrastructure, and military readiness.

Kristy earned an MPA with an emphasis on Policy Analysis from Georgia State University. She earned a BA in English from Valdosta State University.

Kristy works in GAO’s Atlanta Field Office.
