GAO reviewed the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's (EEOC) new rule on regulations to implement the equal employment provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act. GAO found that (1) the final rule revises the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations and accompanying interpretive guidance in order to implement the ADA Amendments Act of 2008; and (2) EEOC complied with the applicable requirements in promulgating the rule.
