SummaryThis report formally transmits briefing in response to section 1041 of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009. The act requires the Comptroller General to review the Department of Defense's report on options for improving corrosion prevention and control, including the methodology used to assess the potential options, and provide the results to the House and Senate Armed Services Committees within 60 days after submission of the Department of Defense report. On April 29, 2009, we provided the briefing to staff of Congressional committees to satisfy the mandate and 60-day reporting requirement. |
