This is a follow up to our April 30, 2003, testimony on the proposed Services Acquisition Reform Act of 2003 (SARA). Because our testimony was based on a section-by-section analysis of the proposed legislation, the House Committee on Government Reform requested that we review the specific provisions of the bill as introduced and provide any additional comments.

GAO provided a summary of its comments on the sections covered in its testimony, and its comments on other selected provisions of SARA to which its past or ongoing work may be relevant.
