Highlights

Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO commented on the General Services Administration's (GSA) ability to protect pricing information under a Federal Telecommunications System procurement. GAO determined that: (1) GSA could protect pricing information before award; and (2) because of the nature of the prospective contracts, GSA could have strong justification for protecting pricing data after award.
