The General Services Administration (GSA) requested comments on proposed amendments to the Federal Acquisition Regulation that would: (1) require health care providers to maintain medical liability insurance; and (2) indemnify the federal government against liability for the acts of contractors and their employees during contract performance. GAO had no objection to the proposed changes.
