[Proposed Change to FAR]

GAO was requested to comment on proposed changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation that would specify the evidence required to establish the mailing date for a late bid. GAO noted that the proposed change was responsive to its concern over the lesser evidentiary standard currently in effect.
