Legislative Developments

This article, which appeared in the GAO Review, Vol. 19, Issue 2, Spring 1984, discusses reporting and review requirements and legislative developments under the current Independent Agencies Appropriation Act, the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 1983, the Department of Defense Authorization Act of 1984, the District of Columbia Retirement Reform Act, as well as proposed payment of survivor annuities for Federal employees and members of Congress, amendments affecting the Federal employees health insurance program, and the Uniform Single Financial Final Audit Act which is supported by the Comptroller General.
