Legislative Developments

This article, which appeared in the GAO Review, Vol. 18, Issue 1, Winter 1983, discusses various new and proposed legislation including laws which affect: small business research and development assistance, the auditing functions of GAO, data collection on the geographic distribution of Federal funds, claims collection, immigration reform, refugee assistance, and the establishment of the State Justice Institute.
