Fiscal Year 2011 Financial Report of the United States Government
The Secretary of the Treasury, in coordination with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), is required annually to submit financial statements for the U.S. government to the President and the Congress. GAO is required to audit these statements.
Corrections
Treasury issued the following corrections to the 2011 Financial Report on March 15, 2012:
- Correction to “Change in Veterans Compensation and Burial Benefits” table in Note 15 on page 99 (PDF, 1 page)
- Corrections to the Infinite Horizon narrative and “Table 6, Present Values of Costs Less Tax, Premium and State Transfer Revenue through the Infinite Horizon, HI, SMI, OASDI,” in the Supplemental Information (Unaudited) section on pages 179 and 180 (PDF, 2 pages)
