About the Student Career Experience Program
GAO offers various SCEP positions throughout the year. Some of the positions we have offered are Student Trainee (budget analyst), Student Trainee (management analyst), Learning Center Specialist Intern, Librarian Intern, and Student Trainee (information technology). The positions are typically advertised at the GS-4, 5, and/or 7 grade levels. To see what positions we currently have open, see below under Open SCEP Positions.
Open SCEP Positions
Information Management Specialist Intern, GS-301-5/7
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible under the SCEP Program, you must be:
- A U.S. Citizen;
- Enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a degree-seeking student;
- Enrolled on at least a half-time basis; and
- In good academic standing.
The student's major must be related to the work of the position.
