Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Governing Board Conflicts of Interest Information

Section 6301(f)(2) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) requires to Comptroller General, “to consider and disclose any conflicts of interest” in appointing the Board of Governors on GAO’s Web site.

Section 6301(a)(3) of PPACA defines “conflict of interest” as: “[A]n association, including a financial or personal association, that have the potential to bias or have the appearance of biasing an individual’s decision in matters related to the Institute or the conduct of activities under this section.”
